Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms strongly condemns the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Lebanese Republic, which—according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health—has, as of Wednesday evening, resulted in 254 deaths and more than 1165 injuries as a preliminary toll. This comes amid the execution of over 100 airstrikes within a single day, marking a dangerous and unprecedented escalation.

This escalation constitutes a grave violation of all international laws and conventions, foremost among them international humanitarian law. It reflects a systematic insistence on targeting civilians and infrastructure, amounting to war crimes that require international accountability.

The organization affirms that the continued commission of such crimes by the Israeli entity against civilians in Lebanon and across the region is taking place under unlimited U.S. support and a troubling international silence. This, in turn, encourages impunity and undermines efforts to achieve security and stability.

Accordingly, Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms calls for:
- The immediate cessation of all military operations targeting civilians.
- The opening of an urgent and independent international investigation into these violations and the prosecution of those responsible.
- Serious and effective action by the international community to exert pressure for the protection of civilians and to halt this dangerous escalation.
- The provision of urgent humanitarian assistance to victims and the injured.

The silence of the international community is no longer acceptable. The continuation of these crimes represents a stain on the conscience of humanity and requires a firm stance to put an end to these grave violations.
